NABILA WIRAKUSUMAH
is an artist and photographer from Indonesia, raised in Thailand and Hong Kong, and educated in New York and Denmark. Drawing upon her experience as a child of globalization, her work arranges symbols of a fragmented cultural identity around portraits of a figure who is both enraged and devastated by the world around her — but still determined to face it.
